Searover Flame is coming from an even and successful litter where all the siblings have quickly received their merits. Worth to mention is the sisters; Fiona, Forever and Fancy and their brothers; Fritte and Flashfighter. All dogs who have that little extra.

Far to early! 9 years old, Flame hurt a leading-string in her knee during a hunt in December 2005. We tried to make her knee well with some operations but unfortunately the operations were not successful. It was a very difficult decision to make but this dog was worth a much better destiny than convalescence for the rest of her life. Not being able to join trainings and hunts and always being left as an exception. Thank you little Flame for everything you gave me! Her extraordinary genes and qualities are still with us today and also at kennel Carmals and kennel Streamlights where her sisters also are sending the genes forward.

She was one of the most successful hunting dogs within the Flat Coated Retrievers. Shanty had a matter-of-course and a strength that has been very valuable to her success.
The winner of the Flat Coat’s Championship at Björkvik A-test.
Good placement on the Retriever’s Championship, Nordic Flat Coat’s Championship and on the European Cup.
Autumn 2004: At the age of 12 she was participating in a pheasant hunt and two duck hunts. During the winter her body started refusing, everything went very quickly and she was put to sleep at the 10^th January 2005.
The genes from Shanty are still with us at Searover but foremost at the kennels Conover’s and Sherlock’s. At the Sherlock’s webpage you can read a nice report (in Swedish) about Shanty.

With a good dog everything is easy. Erika Berglund handled Flush to her merits in 1999 and, of course, it turned out to be a success!
Unfortunately Flush passed away too early. She was a happy playmate to the children, always willing! At the same time she was invaluable at the hunts, both as a Flushing dog and as a Retrieving dog. Flush had two litters and her offspring is now taking her good natural abilities forward.

Stella (Star-Light) is our progenitor-bitch and has left many healthy, nice and good children. She left us at the age of 13 and she will always be in our hearts and her children and grandchildren will probably take her good qualities forward. The children; Stormy weather, Forever and Flame have all been awarded with the rare Cacit that are being given out at the Fieltrial in Sweden. Furthermore, she is the mother of the Nordic Champions; Stormy Weather won in 1998 and Flame in 2000 and Fancy in 2002.
